Death of man in Ennis PD custody under investigation Posted in Ennis on May 03, 2016 by Staff Report Photo credit: Ennis Police Department ENNIS — On May 2, 2016 at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 30-year-old white male, identified as Joshua Krajca, was arrested at a local baseball complex for Public Intoxication and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.Krajca was placed into jail at the Ennis Police Department pending arraignment. At approximately 6:30 a.m. on May 3 Krajca was discovered deceased in his cell.At the request of Ennis Police Chief John Erisman, the investigation into Krajca’s death is being conducted by the Texas Rangers. Krajca’s body was taken to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.No other details have been released at this time.
