Claxton was taken to Ennis Regional Hospital by American Medical Response (AMR) and was pronounced deceased by Ellis County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Chris Macon.Ellis County Sheriff's Office investigators identified the shooter as Timothy Brown of Ennis. Brown was apprehended in Ennis in the early morning hours of Saturday. No law enforcement officers were injured in Brown's apprehension.
