LETTER: On Dr. Gilbreath’s passing Posted in Letters to the Editor on November 04, 2015 by Editor To the Editor,My husband and I were informed of the death of Dr. Michael Gilbreath last Thursday. We were devastated. Dr. G was more than just our veterinarian, he was a friend, a mentor and a man we loved like a family member. In the almost 11 years that we knew him, he was unfailingly competent, an almost miraculous life-saver who was loving and compassionate, and a man with a terrific sense of humor. He treated our pets as if they were his own. Being involved in animal rescue, we presented him with literally dozens of strays over the last 11 years for spaying and neutering. He saved the lives of many of our strays. He also saved the life of one of our own pets.We wish to extend our condolences to his family & to his wonderful staff at Waxahachie Veterinary Clinic. You are not alone in your grief. We loved him too.- Bob and Sharon Diana You may also be interested in readingLETTER: THE Bob Phillips weighs in on important Friday city meetingLETTER: County officials with integrityLetter: On the WISD bondLETTER: Moyers – Don’t be fooled; Vote NO on upcoming WISD bondsDelilah – SPCA adoptable Pet of the WeekFor Matt Authier WISD TrusteeLETTER: On St. Mary’s CemeteryTina – SPCA adoptable Pet of the WeekJoe Barton Family Foundation accepting grant applicationsJed – SPCA adoptable Pet of the Week ← Woman sentenced to maximum sentence of 10 years for identity theftCOLUMN: More about our jail operations → Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
