The suspect was identified as Agapito Castellano.At approximately 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, Officer Matt McCaskill observed a hispanic male he knew to be wanted on a felony warrant in the area of 14th and Main Street.The suspect was identified by Midlothian Police as Agapito Castellano, 25.Officer McCaskill attempted to contact the suspect who then ran from officer into the wooded area behind O'Reillys auto parts store. Several officers responded to attempt to contain the suspect in the area.Assistance from Ellis County K9 Unit, Ellis County Constable Pct. 4, and a TXDPS Helicopter attempted to locate the suspect.After tracking and calls from witnesses who observed the suspect running, Officer Stephanie Hanson observed the suspect just north of the Midtown development and she pursued him on foot with the suspect finally stopping and giving up at the south side fence of Midlothian Cemetery after what resulted in a two-hour search.
