Maypearl sets April 25 as city clean-up day Posted in Surrounding Areas on April 21, 2015 by Staff Report MAYPEARL — The City of Maypearl is looking for volunteers to be a part of the Neighborhood Enhancement Action Team (NEAT) on Saturday, April 25.The NEAT camapign is a two-part clean-up effort for the entire city. According to a statement from the city, "The section of town designated for the NEAT clean-up is Fifth Street. We'll have lots of volunteers (hopefully) helping residents on both sides of Main - on Fifth."If you are unable to volunteer, you are asked to participate by cleaning up around your house.If you live inside the city limits, you can take your trash to the dumpsters at City Hall. Proof of residency may be required so take your water bill. Old appliances can be taken but tires, batteries and paint will not be accepted.For more information, call Maypearl City Hall at 972-435-2380.
