Commissioner Pct 2 town hall meetings scheduled Posted in Ellis County on November 15, 2016 by Publisher Lane Grayson was sworn into office of County Commissioner on January 1, 2015 for his first term.ELLIS COUNTY — Ellis County Precinct 2 Commissioner Lane Grayson has scheduled four town hall meetings this week."Discussion will include topics of interest specific to Precinct 2 as well as the entire county. Commissioner Grayson is eager to share new initiatives for road and bridge maintenance, repair and construction and new web based communications for constituents to receive regular progress reports of work completed as well as new scheduled work to come," a press release stated.Guest speakers Ellis County K-9 Unit Officer Corporal McCorkle and Ellis County Veterans Services Officer Ellsworth Huling will also provide attendees information.The first two town hall meetings will take place on Tuesday, November 15 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Ennis Chamber of Commerce in Ennis.The second set will take place on Thursday, November 17 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Southwestern Assemblies of God University located on University St. The meeting will be held at the Sheaffer Center in the Mundt room, which is located in the room to the left past the lobby.
