Shooting event scheduled in April to help wounded veterans Posted in Headline, Waxahachie on March 06, 2016 by Staff Report Rebuilding America's WarriorsWAXAHACHIE — Zone 3 of 3%ers will be hosting a fundraising event on April 16, 2016 to benefit Rebuilding America's Warriors (R.A.W.)R.A.W. is a non-profit foundation dedicated to providing free reconstructive surgery to recently wounded and disfigured active service and veteran status warriors.The fundraiser will take place at Breezy Acres, located at 5375 N. I-35E, Waxahachie, TX 75165, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A donation of $10 is suggested for range use. Food and drinks will be available for an additional donation.Breezy Acres is a privately owned range so your help picking up brass is most appreciated. There is a 100 yard range with shooting benches and ground space available. Pistol shooting will also take place later in the event.The first annual fundraiser last year raised $2,500, making it possible to continue helping veterans and active service receive the help that they need to live normal lives.
