ELLIS COUNTY — Ellis County Coalition for Health Options (dba Hope Clinic) is pleased to announce the opening of its newest location at 805 W. Lampasas St., Ennis, on March 9, 2016.

"We are very excited to offer another location for patients who are faced with transportation concerns," Paul Begnoche, Hope Clinic CEO, said. "We anticipate the new location will be able to provide care for an additional 2,500 individuals who do not have a place to go for health care."

The clinic will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Dr. James Yarmchuk, family medicine physician, and Denise Jeffries, family nurse practitioner, will provide medical care from newborns to senior citizens. All other services remain at the Waxahachie location at this time.

"Although opening this clinic has taken longer than we had wished, we are happy that this long-term goal of Hope’s has reached fruition," Begnoche said. "We want to thank everyone who had a part in this milestone, especially Congressman Joe Barton, whose office has provided invaluable assistance and support through the years."

Hope Clinic provides comprehensive health care services including adult and pediatric primary health care, women’s health, dental and behavioral health assessment and treatment. The clinic also provides additional services that include prescription assistance, benefits counseling, case management, diabetes education and support, and nutrition and health education. Fees are based on income and household size for the uninsured and the underserved; the clinic accepts Medicare and Medicaid, along with private insurance.
