ELLIS COUNTY — The Ellis County Sheriff's Officer's Association (ECSOA) voted Tuesday to endorse five candidates running for elected county positions.ECSOA President Joshua Atilano sent the candidates letters informing them of the association's endorsements. Videos, available at press time, of the vetting of each of the endorsed candidates can be found at the bottom of this article.Johnny Brown earned the association's endorsement for Ellis County Sheriff."You have demonstrated strong leadership, and you have been an outspoken advocate for the employees of your Office and our membership. We believe you continue to be the right choice for Ellis County," Atilano wrote."We deeply appreciate your service and dedication.
