TxDOT will begin work on I-20 & I-45 beginning the week of Nov. 30, 2015.DALLAS — Weather permitting, all westbound mainlanes of I-20 at I-45 and all northbound mainlanes of I-45 at I-20 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. every night this week (week of Nov. 30).At the same time these direct connect ramps will be closed:Eastbound I-20 to northbound I-45Northbound I-45 to westbound I-20Southbound I-45 to eastbound I-20DetoursWestbound I-20 mainlane traffic will be detoured to northbound I-45, exit Simpson Stuart Road and travel back onto southbound I-45 to westbound I-20Northbound I-45 mainlane traffic will be detoured to eastbound I-20, exit Dowdy Ferry Road and travel on westbound I-20 back to northbound I-45Eastbound I-20 to northbound I-45 traffic will travel southbound on I-45, exit Wintergreen Road and travel back on northbound I-45Northbound I-45 to westbound I-20 traffic will travel onto eastbound I-20, exit Dowdy Ferry Road and travel back on westbound I-20Southbound I-45 to eastbound I-20 traffic will travel westbound on I-20, exit Bonnie View Road and travel back on eastbound I-20Detours will be marked and local law enforcement will assist with traffic control.Backups are expected and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
