Waxahachie ISD named Adan Casas the new principal of Finley Junior High for the 2015-2016 school year.WAXAHACHIE — Waxahachie ISD has named Adan Casas the new principal of Finley Junior High School. Casas brings 22 years of experience as a teacher and administrator to WISD.He was most recently the principal of Drane Intermediate School in Corsicana, and prior to that, Casas served as an assistant principal in Ennis ISD. In addition to his teaching and administrative experience, Mr. enjoyed a successful coaching career in Mineola ISD, Lake Highlands ISD, Mesquite ISD, and Grand Saline ISD.Casas holds a bachelor of science degree from Texas Christian University, where he also played football. He also earned a master of education degree from Texas A&M Commerce. Casas and his family currently reside in Ennis.Casas replaces Ruth Sutton, who retired at the end of the school year after nearly 45 years of service with district.
