WAXAHACHIE — The Waxahachie High School wind ensemble was named Best in Class and the Most Outstanding Overall wind band during recent competition at the PEAK Music Festival at the University of North Texas.The students are striving to achieve a "perfect" recording that can be submitted for the bi-annual 5A State Honor Band contest.
