RED OAK — On March 24, Red Oak ISD is set to host the 3rd Annual Red Oak ISD Special Olympics Track and Field Meet in honor of the late Nancy Spigener, a former district educator.In its inaugural event in 2013, more than 100 athletes competed from school districts across the region. This year, entries are expected to exceed 400 athletes representing nine school districts.The community is welcome to attend this exciting event to cheer on the Red Oak Special Olympics Team and athletes visiting from local communities.Everyone is welcome to attend this free event at 9:30 a.m. at Billy Goodloe Stadium located at 154 Louise Ritter Blvd. in Red Oak.
