Red Oak Road will be closed from Hickory Creek Drive to the Red Oak Road overpass beginning on January 23, 2017 and will last for approximately two weeks.

RED OAK — The City of Red Oak Public Works Department has authorized the temporary closure of a portion of Red Oak Road beginning Monday, January 23, 2017 to facilitate new utility construction.

Red Oak PD seeking suspect in bank robbery

RED OAK — On December 30, 2016 at 3:33 p.m., Red Oak Police Department Personnel were dispatched to Prosperity Bank located at 500 N. IH-35E in regards to a robbery in progress.

Terrance Young, 21, of Mesquite, Donya Monique Flowers, 18, of Rockwall and Onedja Crumpton, 17, of Dallas were arrested by Red Oak police on December 17, 2016 in relation to a string of vehicle burglaries.

Red Oak cancels Christmas event and parade

RED OAK — The annual Christmas in Red Oak event and parade scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2016, has been cancelled due to predicted inclement weather.

Rebekka Shianne Haynes, 17, of Glenn Heights and Desiree Monique Martinez, 18, of Red Oak were arrested on Monday, November 7, 2016 by the Red Oak Police Department related to a string of vehicle burglaries.

Red Oak PD arrests two in string of vehicle burglaries

RED OAK — On Sunday, November 6 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Red Oak Police Department personnel were dispatched to seven burglaries of vehicle offenses in the 100 block of Pecan Court, 100 block of Dove Hill Circle and 600 block of Pecan Place.
