Ellis County firefighters arrested for aggravated sexual assault

ELLIS COUNTY — Five volunteer firefighters with ESD #6 volunteer fire department in Ellis County were arrested Monday night on charges of aggravated sexual assault. One other individual was arrested and faces charges for videotaping the alleged assault.

Commissioners support renaming highway after Kyle and Littlefield

ELLIS COUNTY — The Ellis County Commissioners' Court voted unanimously on Monday to pass a resolution supporting efforts to rename a portion of U.S. Highway 287 in Midlothian to Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield Memorial Highway.
