Reservations piloted by group fundraising travel specialist, Debbie Fuqua with DG Promotions, are being taken now for the seven-day Western Caribbean cruise, which departs Feb. 21, 2016, from Galveston, Texas."This is a charity fundraiser benefiting the Gingerbread House," said Blue Knights TX XXI President Ken Reeves. "We want as many people from Ellis County as possible to join us onboard for a fun-filled vacation on the Carnival Magic. We're hoping for a whole ship full of people."Ports of call include Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman Island; and Cozumel, Mexico, with Reeves noting February is "the perfect time of year" to go on a cruise: "When it's cold here – and if 2016 is anything like 2015 with ice and snow – we'll be away from it all and out in the warm Caribbean."The Blue Knights LE/MC previously sponsored a cruise benefiting the Gingerbread House – and members are looking forward to this next one on the Carnival Magic. "They treat you like a king up there," said Blue Knights member Ray Pike. "It's a huge ship and it'll be a lot of fun."Reeves and Pike praise the Carnival Magic's amenities, which include a spa deck, plenty of entertainment and "all you can eat" food, saying, "[The ship's staff] will keep bringing it out until you're done."DG Promotions will make a donation for each booking toward our Gingerbread House Cruise Fundraiser.Interior rooms start from $600.70 per person, including port fees and taxes.
