Prosperity Bank robbed; Police asking for info Posted in Headline, Red Oak on September 26, 2017 by Staff Report Staff Report Red Oak Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying an individual who robbed Prosperity Bank on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.RED OAK — On Tuesday, September 26, at 1:11 p.m., Red Oak Police Department Personnel were dispatched to Prosperity Bank located at 500 N. IH-35E in regards to a robbery that has just occurred. The on duty dispatcher advised that the reporting person informed them that a black male subject had walked into the Prosperity Bank, produced a note and proceeded to commit the robbery.The suspect was described as a black male between 30-40 years old, 6’01-6’02, weighing 245 -255 lbs last seen wearing a Maroon Texas A&M ballcap, sunglasses, white polo shirt with horizontal blue stripes, blue jeans and brown shoes.The subject left in a Silver Chevy Silverado towards northbound Interstate 35.The Red Oak Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is currently conducting additional investigation and attempting to identify the suspect.If anyone recognizes this suspect or has any information, please contact Lieu tenant Richard Boone at 469-218-7745 or rboone@redoaktx.org.
