FERRIS — Ferris Independent School District will be holding their first annual Back to School Fair on August 8 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for all Ferris ISD students.The event will take place in the Ferris High School Cafeteria located at 1025 E 8th Street in Ferris.Ferris ISD, in conjunction with North Ellis County Outreach and local Ellis County churches, will provide free school supplies and haircuts for any Ferris ISD students who need assistance for the 2015-2016 school year.According to the event flyer, there will also be a clothing exchange."If you have clean, gently used school dress menu clothing that your students have outgrown, bring them along and trade them in for other used pieces that fit," the flyer states.School supplies will be on a first come, first served basis and supplies are limited.Contact Dr. Melinda Domain at 972-544-3858 for more information.
