Dylan John Bearden, 19, of Midlothian was arrested Friday morning and charged with aggravated robbery of the Oasis Food Store in Midlothian.MIDLOTHIAN — On Friday, June 26 at approximately 6:18 a.m., a white male, identified as Dylan John Bearden, 19, of Midlothian, entered the Exxon "Oasis Food Store" located at 1601 S. 9th Street wearing a black mask and a red and black jacket.According to the Midlothian Police Department, he pushed a customer aside from the counter and displayed a fixed blade knife to the clerk. He placed the knife on the counter and demanded money from the clerk. The customer that was pushed aside was able to grab Bearden, take him to the ground and subsequently disarm him.The Midlothian Police were contacted and the customer held Bearden on the ground until officers arrived on scene. Officers took Bearden into custody and he was charged with Aggravated Robbery.His bond was set at $200,000 and, as of press time, he remains incarcerated in the Wayne McCollum Detention Center.
