Ellis County Commissioner Grayson announces town hall meetings Posted in Ellis County on April 16, 2015 by Staff Report Lane Grayson was sworn into office of County Commissioner on January 1, 2015 for his first term.ENNIS — Ellis County Commissioner Lane Grayson has announced his first Town Hall meetings for the residents of Precinct Two. The meetings will be held in Ennis and Waxahachie with two meeting times scheduled for each location.The first meeting will be held on Monday, April 20 at the Ennis Chamber of Commerce located at 108 Chamber of Commerce Drive in Ennis. The two meetings at this location begin at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.The second meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce located at 102 YMCA Dr. in Waxahachie. The two meetings at this location will also begin at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.Discussion will include topics of interest specific to Precinct Two as well as the entire county.Commissioner Grayson, who was sworn into office on Jan. 1 for this first term, is eager to share new initiatives for road and bridge maintenance, repair and construction and new web-based communications for constituents to receive regular progress reports of work completed as well as new scheduled work to come."I am very excited to begin my term in office with our town hall meeting. These meetings will allow an immediate means of communication so that we can better serve our residents," Grayson said. "I am looking forward to meeting all those who can attend."
