Italy PD issues safety warning for New Years Posted in Surrounding Areas on December 31, 2014 by Publisher ITALY — The Italy Police Department issued a safety reminder for New Years regarding the discharge of firearms and fireworks."As a friendly Reminder, It is illegal to discharge a firearm within the city limits of Italy. What goes up must come down and when you fire into the air you have no idea where that round may end up. It is also illegal to possess or shoot off fireworks within the city limits. I hope everyone has a safe and good New Year's Eve." the Italy Police Department wrote on their Facebook page.
