Suspects sought in multiple aggravated robberies

The two individuals, a hispanic male and black male, are suspects in multiple aggravated robberies across the metroplex. The latest crime occured at the Exxon Tiger Mart located at 100 Harris Ave. in Red Oak on Sunday, August 21, 2016.

RED OAK — Red Oak police are searching for two suspects involved in multiple aggravated robberies across the metroplex.

On Sunday, August 21 at about 12:59 a.m., two subjects entered the Exxon Tiger Mart located at 100 Harris Ave. in Red Oak. The suspects appear to be a Hispanic male and a black male. The Hispanic male subject brandished a machete and demanded the clerk open the register. The Hispanic male jumped onto the counter and removed cash from the register. The black male stole several cigarettes and lighters.

The suspects were last seen running south from the store. The Hispanic male has a tattoo on his left hand and appears to have tattoos behind his left ear and the back of his head.

The same suspects committed another aggravated robbery a week earlier at the same Exxon in Red Oak on Sunday, August 14 at 3:32 a.m. The Hispanic male subject brandished a sawed-off rifle during this aggravated robbery.

The same black male suspect wearing the same clothes brandished the machete and committed an aggravated robbery at a 7-11 in Grand Prairie on Thursday, August 18 at 2:21 a.m. The same suspect wearing the same clothes brandished the machete and committed an aggravated robbery at a Shell station in Duncanville on Tuesday, August 16 at 5:35 p.m.
