Midlothian PD seeking help in identifying car theft suspects

MIDLOTHIAN — This past Sunday, March 27, 2016 at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to theft of a vehicle in progress in the parking lot of Walmart, 400 blk of N US Hwy 67 in Midlothian.

Two black males approached a 68-year-old female and demanded her car keys while pointing a handgun at her. The stolen vehicle then exited the Walmart parking lot onto the 67 N service road.

A witness followed the stolen vehicle and it ended up pulling up next to J.R. Irvin and dumped some property from the vehicle. That is when the witness lost contact with the vehicle.

If anybody witnessed any part of this incident or observed the stolen vehicle, the Midlothian Police Department would like to talk to you.

The female was not injured and the stolen vehicle has not been recovered at this time.
