Hope Clinic announces additional clinicians

ELLIS COUNTY — Ellis County Coalition for Health Options dba Hope Clinic is pleased to announce the addition of its newest clinicians.

Dr. Donald Mondragon joins Hope Clinic as chief medical officer on Feb. 1, 2016. Dr. Mondragon is an internal medicine physician who received his medical training through Oral Roberts University. He served in the U.S. Army and retired honorably after 25 years. Dr. Mondragon will see adult patients.

Dr. James Yarmchuk is a family medicine physician practicing for more than 24 years with experience at the Department of Veterans Affairs, UNT Health Science and most recently Foremost Family Health Center, also a federally qualified health center, meeting the needs of the underserved. Dr. Yarmchuk will see patients of all ages beginning Feb. 22, 2016.

Both physicians are accepting new patients.

"We are very excited to have them joining our center," CEO Paul Begnoche said. "We are in a state of growth and the additions of these very qualified clinicians will aid us in our goal of taking care of all qualified citizens in and around Ellis County."

Hope Clinic provides comprehensive health care services including adult and pediatric primary health care, women’s health, dental care and restoration, and behavioral health assessment and treatment. The clinic also provides additional services that include prescription assistance, benefits counseling, case management, diabetes education and support, and nutrition and health education. Fees are based on income and household size for the uninsured and the underserved; the clinic accepts Medicare and Medicaid, along with private insurance.
